Merry Whatever You Celebrate

December 14th, 2007 by Jeff

Whilst enjoying your annual sacrificial offering to the gods of capital you might appreciate this video courtesy of Super Furry Animals:

Also a great Hollabilly tune from the Manics downloadable for free off their website or their Myspace.

‘Tis the season to be stressed out and self-absorbed.

Wishing you and yours the best,
Voda

Thank You!

December 10th, 2007 by Andrew

Thanks to everyone who came to our show at the Abbey Lounge on December 7th. We were incredibly excited and humbled that there were so many people there to see us; we could feel your enthusiasm from up on the stage, and it really made the night special.

We’re gonna work on some new stuff for a few weeks, and we’ll be back out there again early in the new year. January, we hope. We hope to see you all again very soon.

Thanks also to the Hangman’s Alphabet, the Measuremen, and Bryan McPherson, who were all stand up people and who put on some great performances.

There had been a request from the house for a clarification about what “Rule 21″ refers to. Here it is.

As always, we appreciate your support.

Dinosaur Senior

A little insomniac YouTubing…

This is rather compelling. I must have watched it for a good 3 minutes before I noticed the papier-mâché pig in the foreground.

This one is significantly less interesting.

And did you know that Rage TV is the longest-running music program in the history of television? If it’s on Wikipedia, it must be true. Who’d have thought that being up very late at night and not having cable could be so useful. Oh, yeah, and “Come On” by the Jesus and Mary Chain is the greatest song ever. When you’re 15, this is about as good as it gets.

Finally, to clear the palate before bed: How Crayons are Made
